Going to be a big big player for us in this next phase of games.

Outside of Partick Thistle, he's found the net in every game he's played for us (albeit a couple disallowed).

I fancy him to notch another against Dundee too at the weekend. Can only see his performances getting better and great to see the attitude he's brought to the club. Far removed from this supposed entitled prime donna we were getting.

Just a high quality football player. A likeable one brought in by accident

On more on one occasion, you could see him visibly * off with what he was playing with. Not that he was great himself.

Aye he wasn't great but he was the only actually trying up top.

Rodgers system seems to completely isolate the Striker. It happened with Kyogo, Idah and now Ihaenacho.

Might be more in line to be * off with his own end product. He moves like he is stuck in quicksand. He was gesticulating to players on why they weren't on the end of his crosses or not chasing shots in when he should have his hands up apologizing for some awful efforts. His touch and reaction for the chance the defender blocked from the Tierney was like Sunday league footballer ago had been pulled out of his bed 10 minutes ago.

I don't think he has shown anywhere near enough. It's time for either Kenny or Yamada to show if they can offer anything more.

Agreed, plus Iheanacho is too deep or wide far too often.

Was the same problem I had with Idah, far too often he was either out side or too deep. Kyogo was the same but it actually worked out to start with as he had the pace and ball control to make it work.

Starting to see it with Iheanacho as well, but neither him or Idah are fast enough to make it work.

We know Brendan won't pick Yamada, not matter what. There is quality there, but it is always a gamble signing players in those circumstances.

Doesn't help that he was drifting wide as you say, when we needed him in the box.

He’s not a poacher, in the style Kyogo was. His game is not to make front post runs, he is more effective as a link player. He might suit 4-4-2 better.

When we signed him I pointed out he needs LOADS of chances if he was going to score and we're just not creating chances

He’s the last name I’d be criticising today.

He will be absolutely fine, he’s shown plenty since joining.

Could see how raging he was numerous times at some of the players in the team. He wasn’t great but he wasn’t bad either and at the moment he’s being hamstrung by playing with far inferior teammates and a system which is isolating him and starving him of any sort of involvement in the game.

Think he is getting a very, very soft ride from some here considering the abuse being fired in every direction.

He was brutal today. He has 1 goal from play in 7 games. He is slow as Christmas and has no right foot. It was always going to take time for him to get up and running but he's not getting any better, probably going the other way if anything.

I agree. He’s a better footballer than Idah (not difficult) but he’s really not all that good.

Suppose he is what he is. A flop at Sevilla and couldn’t hit a barn door at Middlesbrough.

He misses too many chances he's the type I wouldn't be against as a back up but our circumstances dictate we need him to be the main man

What the * he was doing playing as some kind of inside-right in the 2nd-half yesterday is anyone’s guess. Firing in wayward crosses and getting mad when no one was there to meet them? Irony is not his strong point, seemingly. Also, how the * Rodgers had set us up like that just beggars belief.

Should be 3rd choice at best but given how far standards have dropped, now only established #9 at club.

Overall he's slow, wasteful with a questionable attitude and plays like a 33 year old rather than 28 - but we are now hanging on to the hope he'll bring us the goals to win the league.

Failure at every club last 3 years and knocked us back for a loan previously too.
It's an absolute joke we are looking to this guy.

Honestly, think there is more to him than we are seeing.

Sadly, maybe he can't be arsed when the rest of the squad/team/setup is half arsing it as well.

Motivation around the squad is at an all time low now.

He came in, backing himself with the videos and all the noise of getting in shape and being the big man up front.

But seems after the first 3 games he's realised the rest of the squad is not giving a * and demotivated and that's kicked back in to him.
I guess there was a reason he let himself go last season and didn't give a toot. Seems he's potentially lost the motivation again.

Needs help, the entire squad does, with another decent striker to share the burden, but also to spark * life in to the place

Reality setting in, he's a half decent player and nothing more. He's not what we needed over the summer and was a barrel-scraping desperation signing. He won't score enough goals here and won't get the service either due to our forward players not being good enough.

I like his attitude and he seems to be a real personality and he was shown better then I initially thought he would. But lets be real even at his peak at Leicester he was not a prolific goalscorer. His best season was 19 goals in 39 games and that was his best tally easily. So the idea that he was going to arrive and light it up here in front of goal was never realistic. He started better then I expected I will give him that but he is not and never has been a reliable goalscorer and the fact he is our first choice 9 is an absolute farce and is the result of the incompetence and mismanagement of Nicholson and the board.
