Keep Zaluska as number 1.

The way I look at it is do we need Artur more than we need an almost as good goalie between the sticks plus 8 million in the bank to spend on a striker and CB. I think we need the latter more than Artur. However, to make sure we get full value for him we need to at least keep Artur playing in the big games and especially the OF and Europa games where managers from the EPL etc tend to think is the best setting to judge Scottish players. Artur has to play very well till January for us to get full value because his catastrophic form collapse last season was very public and even extended to his Poland form. He has to keep rebuilding his reputation. If we can get 8 million in January we must take it.

Gunt ,do you know something that no one else does ,what makes you think Boruc will get shipped out and it was claimed by the man himself that he would like to finish his career at Celtic.

GAZ I agree boruc was mince last season and hasn't been much better this season he was at fault for the first goal against the HUNS

And apart from the one against hibs can't remember any really good saves

Zaluska wasn't tested all game as somone said but he was forced to make a really top drawer save that won us the match having had next to nothing to do previous to that . I think that is a sign of a quality keeper

I'd be happy to take upwards of 5 million for the holy goalie and live with the memories because i think he's starting to pass his sell-by date .

To be honest, I think Zaluska is wasted here. Even though Boruc has his shakey moments, there is no other man I'd rather have between the sticks. The passion, the love for the club, and most of all, the ability.

Zaluska is too good to be second choice, but with Boruc in our squad, not good enough to be first.

My heart would break if we sold Boruc, but I'd be happy to know we have a man who could perhaps start his own legend between the sticks at Paradise.

You know I have to laugh. When you think about how weak we are at center back and up top. Then we have 2 excellent goalkeepers. Credit to Zaluska that was a fantatsic stop at the end to secure us the win. But how on earth anybody can suggest Boruc should be left on the bench after 1 game is beyond me. In fact I think Boruc has been very good for us so far this season. His save against Hibernian has to be a contender for an all time great saves video reel. In fact I would say Boruc has a good argument for being our best player thus far. Credit to Zaluska though on today.

How can somone be our best when he has cost us so many goals . I can't remember when he last made a really good 1 on 1 save .

when people are going thru on him they just seem to beat him too easily now.The real reason you and most of the other people wouldn't want boruc to be replaced is because of his relationship with rangers and even that has calmed down .

Madness I watched zaluska at the cliftonville game got three knocked passed him terrible goal keeping boruc is our number one I will be disapointed if they sell boruc celtic do this all the time make a player and sell him does my head in

some people btw, zaluska is a top keeper, best backup we could of got but Boruc is amazing, i hope we never sell him, best player at the club on his game, great asset and amazing keeper, dunno why people do this a sub comes in does well and alll of a sudden he should replace another top quality player who is injured.

Mowbray should of let Boruc rest in the last few SPL games if he was injured, shouldnt of been playing him, i thought he knew zaluska was more than capable of going in goal while he rested

look zaluska is quality of course he is! but better than boruc? yer haveing a laugh man. boruc is one of the best in the buissness and dropping him would be like real madrid dropping ronaldo! its best to keep playing your best all the time. if boruc was playing gash? then you would have a valid point on this.but he hasnt played well and im more than happy to who is the no1

Great keeper IMO but I dont think that Boruc has done much to deserve to be dropped. Its great to have such healthy competition in that position!

No. My post doesnt claim anything other than my own opinion that now we have Zaluska, we need the 8 million people think we would get for Artur more than we need Artur himself.

I'm glad we have two very good goalkeepers in the squad right now.

The OP would have had a point of Boruc was still showing the form he had last season, but this season he's looked to have put his troubles behind him and has puled off a few good saves.

Out of the two Boruc is the better, however I would play Zaluska in the cup games (Scottish and League).
