to add, Everton, Inter and Madrid were supposedly in for him also.
He could have went there for more money. But he took the pay cut all to say that he played for Celtic. I think that speaks volumes.

Hes no angel and he admits that he has overstepped the mark on occaisions. And he has paid for his mistakes.

But he has admirable qualities. I dont think hes as intense and as angry a man as the onlooking public and media perceive him to be or that his demeanour suggests.

Fair dues to him if he said he didn't perform for us due to various reasons .
One of the reasons I don't like the guy is because I thought he pulled on a hoops top to satisfy his ego .

He clearly states his regret that he couldnt have offered more and felt that he let the fans down in a lot of ways. He states his admiration for Tommy Burns and said he enjoyed the company of Stan and Dion Dublin. He states that if hed have signed for Everton (and presumably anyone else) hed have rgretted not signing for Celtic.

Aye, he says he was on 15k a week, as well. Not the reported 40+. Turning down Real Madrid, too. Heh.

Good book overall. He's very honest, as always, in where he went wrong.

Anyone read Keanes comments on Craig Gordon?

Heaps praise on him. States that he was the only player he has ever seen being applauded off a training session.

I dont understand why people seemed to lose faith in him when he was there, the injuries wernt exactly his fault, especially that broken arm.
