Have to agree with you here, it's frustrating to watch us dominate teams and not score a good amount of goals to reflect it! Boyd has scored alot of goals this season and I reckon if he played for Celtic he would have scored even more! Boyd is twice the goal scorer of Keane but Keane is twice the player, you decide what is more important for a striker...

It's hilarious imagining anyone from outside Scotland reading this.

    "Keane v Who???"

A world-class striker who's played for Inter Milan, Liverpool etc - captain and all-time highest goalscorer for his country - 10th highest scorer of all time in the EPL - and scoring is by no means the sum of his game.

Or a guy that's only been heard of in Scotland - has played for Killie and Rangers - and has never in his career been able to buy a goal against a decent team.

    Kris Who???

I wouldn't call him a world-class striker, yes he's a very good striker but world class? I think not.

I'd take boyd. The amount of chances Keane has wasted since he signed is unbelievable. Boyd would be in double figures now with the same chances. how many Chances did Keane have against Hearts?????? PLENTY.

Unfortunately he never done it against Killie, whereas Boyd ALWAYS scores against them.

I'd take boyd all the time

Keane every day of the week. As others have pointed out he's proven himself at the very highest level.

You can't say that when Boyd has 150+ SPL goals and Rasmussen has 1. Rasmussen will have to get in the team and prove he can score consistently over a long period before you can make that statement.

I voted 'Depends on the opposition'.

Obviously Robbie Keane is a far superior all round player but when it comes to scoring goals against the bottom 6 clubs in the SPL Boyd's record is undeniably impressive.

Only 1 SPL goal though. :50:

Yes it is pretty good. He will have to prove himself over a much longer period of time to be compared to Boyd though imo.

Keane is in every way, shape and form the better player. There is no comparison to be made unless Boyd turns back time and becomes a 13 million quid striker when he is a teenager.
