    Keane's wanted to stay at Tottenham like Bellamy w/ Man City. But if I'm him, and another guy getting an injury is the only thing keeping me at a club, I tell that club to go f themselves.

    Unless Spurs sign a new striker it isn't happening. There is a rumour kicking about that they've been offered Iaquinta. Redknapp isn't too keen on him as he lacks the temperament to play in Engkand.

    Redknapp want's Keane away from Spurs due to his attitude and a feeling that his best days are behind him.

    Should Spurs qualify for the Champ League group stage tonight, then it looks odds on that they will sign Luis Fabiano. This will put Keane lower down the striker pecking order and increase the likelihood of Spurs cashing in on him by end of August. Of course this will also mean that Keane will be Euro cup tied for Celtic (until January?) but perhaps this will lower his transfer value.

    The main competition it seems is in England: Aston Villa, Fulham and West Ham. Probably all mid table clubs this season and even though Villa may qualify for the Europa league group stage, like Celtic, he will be cup tied.

    Therefore to me as long as a price can be agreed with Spurs it is a no brainer for Robbie Keane to return to Celtic. He said he enjoyed it last season and the experience reinvigorated his performances. Plus he must know he will be idolised at Celtic more than any other club and like Craig Bellamy to Cardiff will be seen to have returned to Paradise for the right reasons.

    So now is his big chance to return and lead us to the title. Then assuming Celtic can qualify for the Europa league knock outs, he will (I think) be elligible to play.

    However should Robbie leave Spurs and go elsewhere then this rumour should be put to bed once and for all as to me it will be a clear indication that Keane does not view his future at Celtic and like Roy Keane just wanted to play for his boyhood heroes before he retired.

    Personally I really want Keane to sign for us in the next week but please don't disrespect the club by thinking you can always return when you are 35.

    Its now or never Robbie, please comeback now.
