Keane 5 or 6 years? I am afraid that is probably wide of the mark. He is already looking less mobile and carrying some sort of permanent injury. He is nothing like the player he was a few years ago. I think he is too old and injury prone for a club like us to spend the money being talked about.

he was fine with us, i know he has a dodgy knee, its not terrible though, if he keeps himself in good nick and plenty of first team football hel get some good form and stay fit

yeah you would think he was a one man team who came and failed. He was a massive success as a player he...sadly the team fell short over the full season

Ship Fortune to West Brom for $3mil and put some McGeady money toward it. Simples. If Keane wants this, we have a chance. If he doesn't, whatever then.

dont get me wrong I think he could be very good at this level for a couple of seasons but that is not enough for a club our size to spend 5 or 6 million. Besides add his wages which will be a couple of million more each season and his contract would cost a fortune.

Was a joy to watch him last season, his movement and game intelligence was a level above anything we've seen since Henrik.

Just can't see him coming back, he's worth more than we can afford and will have no end of options at 6 or 7 million quid.

Keano would be worth every pound penny and cent!!!
a player you just cant go wrong with pay the £7million fee give him £50g's a week
show ambition and make the big signing we all crave!! if Lenny is truly getting all the McGeady money then use it now on a class player if there is a sniff that Keanes
interested then break the bank for him, finishing first is everything this season especially with no automatic CL football it'd be a * of a lot easier with Keane than without!!!

Keane would need to take a major wage cut , if we do get him we cant afford to hand out £65k a week for a full season, if he's willing to drop his wages to come here then great, but i dont think he would be up to it

Looks like Sevilla are about to crash out of the Champs Lg to Braga, don't know if this will effect Fabiano's future. How likely is it he'll end up @ Tottenham?

Would Robbie want to go to Villa or West Ham? Seem to be the only teams mentioned.

I would give Keane £40,000 a week. I think that would be a decent wage for him, 31 years old, really good player...not the player he was 3/4 years ago and that has to be reflected in his wage.

Would love us to sign him, think he could obviously play up front or in the role that Fortune is playing in also.
