And what would that be? I'm positive if the board could get Keane they would. In this case it would be totally up to teh player

This was all over the Spurs forums last week.According to the Spurs fans with "inside info" Keane point blank refused to go to West Ham

Grant was probably asking about good brothels in London

Penny pinchers. If we go into the rest of the season with what we've got Rangers will win League again.

hardly the boards fault people like Bellamy, Bullard etc turned us down - the board tried. One disappointing aspect this summer though is we have taken in 10million more than we spent and it would appear it isn't being re-invested in the team

I understand that mate - im not some idiot who wants the board to spend 20 mil every window. There's easily 5m from that money that is available and hasn't been spent. I back the board - they do a good job but i don't walk around with blinkers on.

If the board wanted Keane then pay the transfer fee!! Same as Bellamy, pay the 6-7 million valuation and you get the player. That's what ambition is measured by in football, simple!!!

Unless Tottenham bring in a striker this afternoon (which I don't think they will) then I can't see him joining us.

But that 6-7mil valuation is jsut the fee. Include wages of roughly 3 million a season then it's much mor than 6-7 million for the player, it ends up at maybe 10-12million. these guys would not come for 20-30k p/w, you're talkin maybe a minimum of 40-5-k p/w.

SSN Stating Babel is on his way to Spurs to discuss a move. Is it likely if he signs that Keane will move??

I think we need to start to get over Keane guys, can't see it happening, he should be demanding to go to celtic if he really is a 'fan'

The possibility of a Keane deal is dependant on Spurs signing another striker.

Rumour is that Ryan Babel may go to Spurs. If so as Babel can play as a striker it may open the door for Keane to leave.

He has been a winger for liverpool, but before signing for them he played just behind the lone striker in a central role. Surely they wont be signing him to play on the wing when they have lennon and bale anyway?
