i cant belive redknapp does not see how great keane is , do u really think if he was still at pompey and he was offered keane or crouch he would not have taken him !!!
pure waste of a talent , hopefully harry sees sense ang sends keane back up here !

I'm still in Dunfermline and heard from Rangers and Hib's supporters that he will sign for us on Friday, so it is not just us who are hearing things, I know a rumour is just that but fingers crossed they are right, would give a team who are starting to come together for the first time in a long time a massive lift

 

* knows mate. I just naturally have never liked him Its wierd. I tried my hardest to like him over his loan period and just couldnt. I can obviously respect he is a very good forward (amazing at Spl level) but a just cannot have any possitve feelings towards him.

This may or may not be bullshit but i read on the Sport 606 that someone saw Robbie Keane in Glasgow today, what do you think to this?, he wasnt named in the spurs squad tonight either, you think there maybe ANY truth in this?

I was staying in the same hotel as the celtic players before the Scottish Cup game against Ross County last season- a game we lost as im sure you'll all remember - and I asked Keane for a photo, which he did do but he didn't seem very approachable and wasn't too friendly! But I''d still love to see him back in the hoops! Would definetley be the finishing touches to our new team!

 

He was a sub for Spurs tonight, so unlikely he was in Glasgow today.

 

Keane is a fantastic footballer and I would love 2 c him back in the Hoops, as a person yes he is a bit of a *,met him twice very ignorant. Bellamy on the other hand i met at the football writers dinner at the Hilton few yrs back when he was up here ,total gent even tho he did rock up in a pair of jeans and t-shirt to a black tie do! haha

 

I was ecstatic when he signed last season but, honest to *, I hope he doesn't come this year. He's a real talent and a good celtic lad but the way the squad is performing as a team this season so far (early as it is) I think he could disrupt the overall effort. Last season we desperately needed someone positive in the team but this year we have a lot of driving, confident players. Plus, young Hooper would be hard-pressed to get a game.
He'll probably come in and we'll rape the whole league and I'll have to eat my words but, right now, I want to stick with what we've got and maybe a squad player or two extra for cover.

 

yes these loan players help no one only keep out someone else you have brought in, who is getting paid for nothing and has a few years contract

 

Keane and Hooper would make a great partnership. Forget Sammy and Fortune at that point.

 

Does anyone else not think Keano is a shadow of what he was 4 years ago or more and looks like he has chronic mobility issues. I thought he didnt look great in the bigger games last year either even though he had a purple socring patch once he got going. I think he is close to the age/fitness barrier where his price will half over 12-18 months and it would be stupid to spend big on him. I would take him on another loan if he got real about his wages (he needs to wise up about wages because he will be on less than half of that in his next contract).
