we cant turn that money doon
no champions lg money mean we need somebody to be selt to fund tranfers
sadly thats the facts of life
every player we have signed are using us as a stepping stone to the EPL its in there contract
if the moneys right they can go

If he is causing trouble why dont we just put him in the reserve team and then see if he can get a big money move to the EPL next year, cmon Kayal show a bit of loyalty.

Kayal is right, he should deffently get bigger wages to show how important his role in the club.

Kayal would be a big succes even if he moved to twente last year,so saying that he wouldnt make money or opportunity without celtic, is stupid.

The second accusation that I red was that he sighned a contract for four years and last year this money was enough but now he suddenly wants more.
Well I think its natural fort he best player in the team to demend more wages , and its similar situation in other jobs.

Well I hope Kayal stay and lead us to quarter final of the uropa leuge.

theres been hee haw from celtic themselves regarding this! so to me nothing to worry about as its rag talk. i think they will be waiting till he has finished his holiday before they hand him this new contract tbh. things may start to happen next week with this and possibly commings and goings also?

Alot of people are saying "tell him to shut it". You are reading this * from papers and journalists that don't like talking good about us for whatever reason. The reaction this this * is getting is exactly the reaction they want. Lets just wait ill Kayal himself says he wants to leave before getting on him. PS i do think he deserves a raise but it has to keep within are wage structure.

This story originated from the Daily R****d didnt it?? That should tell you all about the exaggarated slant they will put on it.

This time of year, all players at all clubs will be looking to try and get a better deal, if they can. We need to get this playing for the strip out of our head. Money will always talk. And if a player can triple their wages elsewhere then who could blame them. Its not like we wouldnt be making a healthy profit on him.

I want him to stay , and am pretty sure he will. Neil and the board know that by selling him they would simply need to reinvest it in someone else as the midfield is weakened without him.

What will happen is he and Izzy will get a deserved pay rise and that will be the end of it. This * hole of a paper wont even report it.

Wish fans wouldnt bite so quick at paper talk by telling players to * off. Doesnt make us sound to great does it.

No its not. The last few days have seen stories linking Bougherra with the termination of his own contract only for the player to come out and deny it. Both halves of the OF get their fair share of pish from the daily rags.

Never let the truth get in the way of a good paranoid story though.

No, thats not true. The rags up here will report on the huns and will sensationalize on what may or may not be happening at Celtic.

The DR for example is focussing on the huns signing and keeping players, whereas we they are looking to create a rift between one of our most promising players and the fans/ club.

With "journalists" such as Traynor and Leckie in these rags there will always be a slant on what they publish.

In this instance I can't agree. This isn't some imaginary article. The quotes from Kayal and his uncle are there for all to see and they are worrying, regardless of the context they are presented in.

If it turns out that Bougherra has torn up his contract I could accept that they were merely reporting on the huns. However, until that is proven the accusations of driving a rift between the player and the club that you allege to be the case in the Kayal story could just as pertinently be applied to the Bougherra articles.

The fans can blame the player for lying to them, and leaving the club that made him as a player. If someone says good things about the club, and looks happy, I expect him to not try and suck money out of the club. What does he need the extra money for, anyway?

As I have said, every player and there agent will be looking to try and improve their contract and terms. Kayal has not said he wants to leave, simply that he wants his terms considered. Doesnt quite match up to the headline which said.

"Celtic midfield maestro Beram Kayal tells Parkhead bosses to pay up, or risk losing him to England"

Read the article and show me the quote where he said that to his bosses.

It is simply sensationalist misquoting from a * poor paper who is looking to draw a reaction from fans. And it seems to succeed.

You may want to compare the rather slack and sterile coverage of the offers for Whitaker and the way that the huns are strongly resisting them, whereas we are losing our top midfielder to imaginary offers from clubs who havent even contacted us.

As I have said, this non story will fizzle out when Kayal is given an improved contract and they move on to another target. I also doubt whether an EPL club would pay the £6m + that we would be looking for, considering he is still injured and he has only played @ 20 odd games.

Well, what does he use all that money for? Get drunk? Waste it on hookers, expensive cars...? Nobody needs obscene money, and that includes Kayal. If he can live a decent life, it is enough. The most important thing for him should be that he plays regularly.
