A lucky charm for Leicester the underdog in lifting an EPL title and FA Cup, could he be a lucky charm once again for an underdog side in the Champions League this season

 

I never really appreciated the difference to a whole match that a keeper who can pass out consistently makes until Kasper. So massive. And it gets more important every year in modern football.

I NEVER want to go back to the days of Gordon lobbing it gently towards the halfway line, Joe Hart trying to be Reo , or even Forster booting it down the park. Absolutely loving what Kasper brings, and all future keepers have to able to pass it creatively as our game depends on it, especially at the top levels

Said it before in here but until we had him and his ability on the ball, distribution from the keeper and how he plays the ball not just accurately but quickly to where a player wants it.

Until we’ve had a keeper actually good at playing out from the back, I took the positives as modern day bullshit.

Despite watching a lot of football and seeing Valdes back in the day to Edersen for Pep now. It actually makes some difference. Hart was ok at it, Forster and Gordon *, Kaspar is * outstanding at it.


Most importantly though, he pulls off saves that look like goals and he commands the box, and he leads from the back.

As an all rounder he’s approaching best I’ve seen for us levels, but that will be cemented with consistency. Forster and Boruc at the peak, because * me some stuff they could pull off to save us, last man not allowing a goal. Kaspar does that but sets the * tone of the game, along with Calmac. Its * mental.

 

A total class act. Sounds so similar to big Joe Hart in what he says, pure professional mindset and will never let emotion dictate how he works.

Excellent performance.

The save at his near post after Scales short back pass is under rated.

The type of shot you see go in constantly, and the chap hit it with some power.

 

Fantastic player, you can see why he's played at the top level for so long.

 

That save in the 2nd half was major! Outstanding little bit of skill shortly after too...

 

His best performance for us so far (even if we had a bit of luck when they hit the post).

Brilliant I doubt he'll thank Scales for that back pass though.

 

Earned his wages. It's just that I didn't foresee him doing that against Kilmarnock.

 

Been a class act since day 1, and has more than just this season in the tank into the bargain. What a signing he's been.

 

Superb Kasper, great saves and top drawer distribution - saved us from dropping points today.
