I actually think we will, Siegrist will be gone and Bain is nowhere near good enough to be second choice, so we need another one in anyway.

Happy with that , still a very good goalkeeper and a leader who will organise the defence and be another big character in the dressing room .

 

Ffs , aye nothing to be positive about , just won league and Cup double , going for 4 in a row , in the CL group stages , overtook both rangers trophy haul ( overtook for me , the big cup is trumps any single one of theirs ) the list goes on , I'd rather have our penny pinching board than than that mobs scatter gun approach.

Recruitment have probably identified a list of goalkeepers who fit the lawwell criteria. Rodgers didnt deem any good enough to be number 1 so probably came to a compromise where we sign someone he does trust and we will sign one off the list to be his back up.

Don't be suprised if new backup keeper is under 23, on a low wage, and under £2m and likely from a club/source we are familiar with

See if it was the young Finland goalie from villa ye would be OK with it 100%

 

It definitely needs to be this window.

Schmeichel will he 38 in a couple of months. He is bound to pick up niggles particularly when we are playing highly intense champions league games midweek.

Under no circumstances can we have that useless * Bain anywhere near the team.
