    Says in an article he was on 105k at Leicester, dropped down to £35k to play first team at Nice, ripped up his contract last few hours of a transfer window and accepted £4k to play at Anderlecht cause they promised him first team fitba.

    To be honest, if that's even remotely true - then I absolutely love his attitude!

    We all I liked Hart, but feel that Scmeichel could be more of a leader. in that he comes off his line more and can organize his defence in front of him.


    Rodgers comments at Leicester.

    "Kasper is a great communicator in the game and he tells people, that's important, he's not waiting until we're sat there in the dressing room.

    'He'll let people on the field know what their jobs are. That's the type of player you want, someone who leads in a positive way."

    'Sometimes he's harsh, but he's having to be clear with players and team-mates."

    I wonder if he will offered a coaching role?

    Schmeichel's experience behind the likes of Scales, may improve his positioning after even one season. Given our weak point was crosses into that area, it makes perfect sense. Someone shouting in his ear what to do, can only help.
