Danish forward Kasper Junker of the J1 League Urawa Reds is once again enthusiastic. This time from England, the home country of soccer. Six clubs, including the Scottish 1st Division Celtic FC and the England Championship (actually the 2nd Division) Derby County FC, want this striker.

British media "Sun" reported on November 24, "Celtic is'ready'to get Junker." It is called "gossip = rumor" to the last. According to the article, Celtic and Derby, as well as the championships West Bromwich Albion FC, Crystal Palace FC, Swansea City AFC, Middlesbrough FC and Bristol City FC, are "interested" in Junker. Such. Indeed, the specific names of the seven teams are listed.

It is difficult to join a club in the Premier League because he has no experience playing for the Danish national team, but the above team seems to have "no problem".

Celtic is paying particular attention to Junker's achievements in the Norwegian league. He was the top scorer and MVP during the FK Bodø / Grimt era, but "in the past, successful players in the league such as Stefan Johansen, Mikael Lustig and Christopher Ager have been active." With that track record and cycle, he is ready to welcome Junker.

Celtic is led by former Yokohama F. Marinos coach Ange Postecoglou, and former Vissel Kobe Japan national team FW Kyogo Furuhashi is enrolled. Postecoglou has suggested reinforcements from the "J League" in the January winter market. It has been rumored that Daizen Maeda (Yokohama FM) and Reo Hatate (Kawasaki Frontale) are listed. Will foreign players also join the target?

Meanwhile, Junker recently appeared in an interview with Danish media. "I'm so happy to be in Urawa. Every time I get an offer, I'm tired of the previous team." "I've been to various clubs over the last few years. Now I have a long contract. I want to conclude and play with confidence, "he said, saying that he wants to concentrate on the fight at Urawa.

Junker has a multi-year contract with Urawa until the end of the 2022 season, with an additional one-year option. So far, Japan has recorded 29 official games, 16 goals and 2 assists, including 20 J1 league games, 9 goals and 1 assist.

In addition, it is said that UC Sampdoria of Italy Serie A and Kobe of J1 league have also moved to acquire Junker.

Tall but very quick player, another good option off the bench and he won't cost much being 27. Could be a smart signing.

You could also add he is used to leading the line in an offensive team that plays high pressing football from his time at Bodo Glimt. Watched one of Urawa’s games recently and he was up against Ayumo Seko the highly rated young CB and he gave him a torrid time with his movement and link up play.

He tore up Eliteserien while in Bodø. Really powerful player.

I'm a bit unsure about him though. * went on a strike while on training camp to force through the transfer to Urawa after Bodø turned down a couple of bids on him.
