Yeah had double figures in France, Netherlands and Belgium, all better leagues than ours. I'm confident he can get twenty odd here.
Also the reality is if he'd been putting 20-30 every season in those leagues he's costing £50m not £10m.

Looks like we are the most interesting option. But just as Scottish media reporting: both transfer fee and salary are too low!

btw… another detail: another Anderlecht striker Bertacinni, might picked up an injury last night that is more bad then feared! Hope this is just scaremongering(https://www.voetbalkrant.com/nieuws...r-anderlecht-blessure-voor-adriano-bertaccini).

Get idah sold regardless. Cant be * around when you are getting £7 millioon for idah

 

Why the * would we allow Idah to pass a medical with another club if we knew we wouldn't let him go until we had a replacement and knew full well we hadn't agreed anything

Just pay the * money and get him in. Even if he’s £12M we’re getting £7M for Idah.

 

That’s what made me fall for this rumour head first, but nah the board where fully ready to let another forward player leave without anyone coming in, even though we needed a striker since the start of the window.

 

That Anthony Joseph is a * rat, swear he just trawls twitter for any rumour he can find and can put the sky sports backing behind it a charlatan of a journalist

 

Wonder if the deal was nearly done until they found out the extent of their other strikers injury

Here’s the Anderlecht backstory, we had scouts at his game over the weekend, because, once his agent clocked that their 1-1 draw last week had left their Champions League hopes looking as lively as a Greggs vegan steak bake at closing time as the woman behind the counter tries in vain to convince you “there’s still some heat in it”, he started to phone round a few clubs. Scouts liked what they saw. Our football doctor scribbles out a prescription for the money men - 10 million euros will cure this ailment. Which, converted, is £8.5m. (Keep that number handy, it’ll matter in a second.) The agent tips off Anderlecht, the player’s keen, bags packed. He even starts prepping for Ibrox on Sunday - tetanus shots, garlic necklace, crucifix in his sock, the full works. Recruitment are told by the money men: aye, sounds grand, we’ll crack on. The lad says his goodbyes to his teammates. He’s on his way.
So you can imagine the shock when Celtic phone up Anderlecht - not with £8.5m, but with £7.8m. A full million euros less than what everyone involved had already agreed would close the deal. A bid so low it’s practically limboing it’s way to Belgium. And now, shockingly, here we are - no deal, no striker, no plan, no surprise.

 

So is he coming or not?

 

Exactly this board need chased £100 million in the bank and moaning about 3 or 4 million extra

 

Just knew it would be too good to be true. If the board * this up and we’re left with Idah when the window shuts I think they better run for cover.

 

I just assumed it would be as good as done considering Idah had his medical and we were openly speaking about replacing him. Why Idah was allowed to go for a medical whilst we had nothing lined up is another question that we will never get an answer to
