Wouldn't have paid 5 million for him but 2.5 is good if you think that we paid 3.2 for fortune and this might be disputed but although fortune has been good this season , kamara is a better player on paper ,but i guess the injury thing could be an issue

Not much better (if at all) than what we have, don't need another average player who doesn't care for celtic:38:

I just don't like him, did not impress me at all and i think people are paying more attention to the fact he played for some decent teams rather than his performances.

If it was to be decided on performances alone i doubt he would be signed, especially with his injury. Get tae *.

We're short of forwards If samaras leaves, which a lot of people on here hope he does (myself not one of them) then we only have two first choice strikers left.Fortune - not a natural goalscorer and Rasmussen - managers seem to think hes better coming off the bench.
Kamara looks up for the fight which we need in our teams and also imo will score goals if played as a striker which he rarely featured as because Keane was here.£".5 is not that much money

Neither are really wingers but Kamara proved he can do a decent job out wide. He tracked back and was quite good on the ball, as well as providing pace and penetration. Up front, Samaras I would say is a better striker than Kamara because he offers good running of the channels, pace, strength, decent heading from crosses and is committed when allowed to play his own game. He was great with Crosas playing balls over the top for him in the Europa League and I think that if we can find a decent partner for him again (perhaps Maloney?) he could rediscover some form.

2.5 million though seems a lot for a 29 year old and his wages are quite a lot when we already have McCourt, McGeady, Maloney and even Carey but if it doesnt impact on any better targets I'd go for it.

3 year deal from PSG on the table it seems. Why hasnt he snatched it up?
