I had a dream that I was Jessica Fletcher out of Murder She Wrote and I was getting chased off of a bad guy, I ran into some sort of classy club which upstairs was full of beds for some reason, I hid under one of them and he couldnt see me, when he started walking down the stairs for some reason I jumped up and waved to him. He started walking towards me and the dream ended.

I've had it about 6/7 times over the last few years and I still just about * myself everytime. Been the same thing each time, and old guy just sitting/standing at the end of my bed staring at me. I'm no actually frightened of the guy but everytime its happened I just can't move for what feels like forever and he just stares right at me, creepy. It's more the not moving that freaks me out than the guy himself but.

Had this last night/this morning for only the third time, but the first time since being with my new girlfriend.

It seems to only ever happen when I fall to sleep on my back which I try to avoid now. I woke up absolutely boiling and couldn't move, then felt something touching my right leg (wasn't her, she was on the other side) I began to freak out and try to make some kind of noise, this woke her up and once she nudged me I could move my body again.

She said my body was shaking like I was trying to move it & I was making noises like I had something tied over my mouth.

It really is one of the scariest things I've experienced.

Have never had this but certainly things like it

The other night it felt like I was awake and I was holding my birds hand in my left hand while she was sleeping

Then I felt someone tickle my right hand.....* shat myself

Woke up straight away, but freaked me out as I was sure I was awake and just lying in bed

Aye you never get it if you sleep on your stomach (i think). I get that sleep apnea sometimes if i sleep on my back, don't know if that can lead to sleep paralysis.

Think i posted it in here before but if you do get, wiggle your fingers and toes and you should wake up (worked for me, not had in years though)

Edit - well that's my first sentence out the windae, cheers postie.

Think heavy drinking can cause it too btw :smiley-laughing002:

Had it in Cancun so stopped drinking for a few days.
