bit in bold is what Lennon will hope to bring out of him.

there must be something about him to draw praise from the backroom staff the way he did when he was training with us.

I watch the red bulls and he was a great player for us but he never got a decent run of games because the coach likes to play 1 striker and Henry was always going to start, He almost always made an impact when he came on even if he like every player had an off day once in a while. He has been great at Chivas as well

Like I admitted I haven't watched him at chivas and didn't watch him extensively with the Red Bulls but he strike rate is horrendous wherever he has been and frankly I just don't see what he would offer that we don't already have.

samaras is not prolific but is integral to our team agudelo is a forward not a out and out striker

£2.5/£3m would be my guess. Purely a guess though. Certainly wouldn't be keen on a move if it's any more than that.

Agudelo looks like he could turn out to be decent, has a lot of pace and takes players one. I would prefer for us to go after Brek Shea from FC Dallas. I think Shea is going to be a great player and have been more impressed with him over agudelo when watching the national team.

Would NEVER pay that for this guy. Has proven nothing so far. Decent prospect at best. many better strikers from the MLS

I know. That would be a crazy price.

I'm sure someone said a few pages back that we wouldn't get him for less than £2.5m... hence the price I quoted.

Edit: Might be the wrong thread. :smiley-laughing002: Think it was Melikson. I''ve no idea then.

Dont know why everyones speculating when they havent seen him and going on about prices.

Our management have seen him up close and if they think he's good enough and the right price they'll sign him and if they dont they wont. Theres nothing anyone can say about it.

Well if we do end up paying £3m I hope he delivers. Would not feel comfortable paying that, especially for a player in a position which should not be our main focus in this window IMO.

Then we may as well close every thread on this forum.

Someone asked the price I guessed. Turns out the basis of my guess was wrong so I have absolutely no idea. No one's talking about his ability other than those who have watched him play for NY, Chivas and the US, most of us, who had never heard of him before he was linked to Celtic are just asking questions about his playing style, ability, etc.
