    Hopefully he's fit again soon. He showed a bit of promise last season.

    Sviatchenko, Simunovic, Toure and O'Connell is a pretty decent 4 to choose from.

    That's a good video.

    His positioning and timing of the challenge is very good and he is comfy on the ball. I can remember him being a bit suspect at times in the air and needs to bulk himself up a wee bit.

    He could potentially be like a new signing. A back 3 of:

    Simunovic Toure Sviatchenko

    Could be class. He seems a nice guy as well, which is always a bonus.

    That is a good video of Jozo :50: He looks very tenacious in the tackle. Still young and still learning.Scored some good goals with his head in that video too.

    Was thinking the same. I also think Jozo will be out to prove he is the best.

    I think a back three selection of Jozo, Kolo, Erik and Lustig and Tierney on the flanks is the strongest selection we have had since MON days. IMHO.

    Izzy as back up (although he may not be happy wi being a back-up to his old under-study).

    Saidy Janko for RB back-up. That one is the concern.

    He definitely plays like a Saidy. He needs punted. Never a footballer. He should give track and field a go.
    But no fitba.

    Injury update from Brendan on him.

    The manager also had an update on the fitness of defender Jozo Simunovic but confirmed the club are being patient with the centre-half’s return.
    “He has been out for a while and when you take how long he has been out you have to be careful and manage him on that,” he said.
    “He’s outside, doing on-field rehab work but still a bit off playing.”
