I think it works in both ways. Zdravko Mamić has enormous amount of money and power so (with all respect to great Celtic club) it is unlikely that Dinamo is going to be feeder club to Celtic.
When Modric made transfer to Real Madrid (Mario Mamić, son of Zdravko, is his manager), Real wanted to include relations such that Dinamo becomes feeder club to Real Madrid.
Zdravko Mamić immediately refused.

Relations are more likely be mutual.
Exchange in knowledge, preparation training camps, friendlys etc.

 

Has absolutely nothing to do with this signing. Different board, different manager, different scouting team, different money available to us, different footballing landscape.

It is more problem within Dinamo and croatian football. We will make fun of anything that Zdravko Mamić arranges.
For me Simunovic is O.K. transfer for Celtic. And realistically it is.

 

We have a growing disgruntled fan base, a fast approaching transfer window close and the imminent sale of our best player. It worries me that no one is claiming the player is worth anywhere near the £6 to £8 million we're supposed to be buying this guy at. I hope I'm wrong but this deal smells like Scheidt.

Why bother with a big sell on clause? That's because Mamic leaves nothing to chance.He is a businessman, top businessman. Hate him as much as you want,nobody can dispute that.Transfer fee is big as it is £5.5 mil, I still can't believe Lawell would cash out that amount of money for one player.

 

If true that's the value and he isn't worth it, I can see Peter Lawwell doing it to spite the fans.
He will do this, see him fail at celtic then use it as an example to the fans that spending that sort of money doesn't guarantee anything, and return to his penny pinching * way.

 

For me, from £1 mil to £2mil (with good future %) in normal circumstances. If you desperately need CB so late in transfer window, I can see how Zdravko Mamić managed to raise a price.

 

Lawwel is a top businessman not some bitter * who hates the fans. He's got much more sense than to waste his and dermot's dollar just to spite some of the fans.

There is nothing indicating this is a good deal at £1million. You're right, Lawell is fukcing at it!

 

Is the transfer to be 5.5million pounds or euros?
I heard it was euros and about 3million pounds. Which would make sense for dinamo managing to push the price up from 2 to 3million then.
