Our chances of signing him has skyrocketed i reckon. I would still want to sign him as we all know his potential.

 

He’s a young winger and same as Abada he’ll go through spells like this. Hopefully picks it up soon cause we need more from him.

 

Our chances have definitely improved when it comes to signing him, and we'd be mental not to. This is the time to take advantage - we know just how good he can be.

I actually thought he played well last night, put a few great crosses into the box and made loads of good runs that weren't noticed.

 

Whilst I agree, he does plays better with Juranovic behind than Taylor though.

I imagine he prefers playing with a decent full back behind him, can undstand it.

Look at the other side. Abada has been flourishing with Ralston or Juranovic behind him. He'd be no where near as good with Taylor behind.

Distinct lack of discussion about this boy today. First half I thought he was awesome, second half merely very good. Hopefully by his dip now and flying for the run in.

 

Played better today, some nice crosses first half. Still hopeful we sign him.

 

Excellent today, still lacking a wee bit of confidence though I feel. Signing here would absolutely be the best thing for him - hope he realises that too now that the hype around him is hitting an inevitable ebb.

 

His corners are excellent

 

He could do with a better partner on the left side other than Taylor.

Imagine what he'd be like if he was linking up with Tiernry...

Think it's underestimated how important the full back is for someone in Jota's position.

Would Sinclair have been as effective if he was being expected to play with someone like Taylor?

Really hoping we can get Jota on a permanent in the summer and at the same time trying to identify a left back with the attributes which will enhance both his and our game.

Even Boli made Elyounoussi look better than Taylor did

 

McGregor despite not being anywhere near his best today helped him a lot, the spaces he was taking up and when he’d pass the ball to him insured he was getting it in dangerous areas and him getting one on one against defenders.

We haven’t seen somebody do that for him since Jura was behind him.

 

He took the * down that side. Coulda played better?...aye if he scored 4 goals ffs.

Any news about his future? I highly doubt he'll be playing anywhere else but Celtic or SL Benfica
