He is a fantastic prospect, but games like tonight are important to remind him and us that he's still a long way off the finished article. I know I've got carried away and there's a chance he (and Benfica) have too. Stay here long-term and improve, clearly the best choice for him.

He wasn’t good enough for Clyde tonight. None of them really were.

He was awful. On either side.

The fact Forrest was our best winger tonight was alarming.

Something was off with him tonight, I'm wondering if he was carrying a wee injury. Didn't look like the player we've come to expect.

He took his man on once tonight, the whole game, and it was right at the end when he put in a left foot cross that Forrest headed over. How different the game could have been if him and Abada had done that more often.

Aye, right enough, that was one decent moment. Just looked a different player tonight. The two full backs of Bodo were proper aggressive, going in at Jota and Abada every time they got the ball, it looked like it spooked them.

Got snuffed out for about an hour, seemed frustrated and then involved a lot the last half hour but mostly * it all up probably desperate with us losing and him not getting a kick before then.

Worst game for us so far, his attempt at a ball into giakamakis at the end was horrific.

That should have been a certain goal, being honest how far the keeper had come off his line anticipating that ball he could have probably just shot at goal and scored or played a half decent ball for a certain goal. It was the same when he got in on the right and shot when Maeda had a kick in at the back post from 2 yards.

Really poor game last night, that pass near the end, was like a back pass to keeper. No worries, he will be beck big time at weekend. I do feel for him having Taylor behind him

Missed having Hatate to link with and he and Taylor both decided to have their worst game for us on the same night..

Credit to Bodo too, they were excellent off the ball, shut down any space on the wings..

Tried far, far too hard and was forcing it and it made him not play his natural game.

One of my favourite things about him is as talented as he is, he is a workhorse defensively so I won’t be too critical about it but the 2nd goal he needs to follow the man into the box. He worked back, he was aware of the danger, he lost concentration and lost his man.

That’s a big lesson for him at this level, needs to concentrate all the time, he was working backwards brilliantly a lot and it’s not his game but he shows the willingness to do that and it’s to his credit but one slip up will allow them in.

90 minutes and the rest is needed to keep that work rate up, especially when it’s not working for you up the other end.

And on the bright side, lessons like that will show him that he has a lot to learn here even though he’s talented enough to do it in better leagues.
