Just try and sign him ffs.

Tbh not playing him was a sacking offence anyway.

The thing I love about is he's such a player of substance. He really does change games. How many times over the years have we seen these tricky, talented wide players with no end product - Johnston being a prime example.

Knew when he was coming on things were going to start happening and he would be involved directly in getting the win.

Wish you'd told me! I lost 5 years of my life in that second half!

jota is a baller but getting used as a sub when deserves to be starting 11 every week is not gonna push him to sign up. players all want game time wait til he's signed a 5 year deal b4 * about using him sparingly

Nah man, he is coming back from injury and Ange is easing him in. That is why we are getting to the stage where we nearly have two first teams. Ange is breaking them all in and I have never seen a Celtic manager using a Squad so well.

Thing I like about him is he's absolutely solid, he can definitely handle himself. Was expecting a wee tippy, tappy winger but he's skillful and very strong with it.

Final ball is superb as well, left foot or right foot crosses wether running at full speed, standing or just after dribbling through 2/3 guys I dont think i've seen him make an * of a single cross they are always into dangerous areas.

Love how animated he was both before and after the goal. Made a difference when he came on and was always a threat. It would be a sore one to take now if we don’t sign him as it looks like he really enjoys being here.

I thought that in the crowd was after the goal, but was after the game it seems to be going by the unique angle.

Just how good is this guy? I feel like how I felt watching Van Dijk when I see him, not a single part of his game that's lacking. We've had great players over the years but with Van Dijk you knew he was absolutely destined for the top - same for Jota. I'd be * astonished if he's not playing at one of the biggest clubs in the world in the next five years. Strength, skill, vision, final ball, defensive work, he's got it all.

He's been starting all season when fit, just returned from injury and want him fresh for the huns, he's not being wasted as a sub ffs.

This is purely based on ignorance, but I had expected a young, talented winger with a tippy-tappy style, lots of flicks and tricks, but little end product, probably quite fragile as well.

Obviously delighted to be wrong. He brings all of the good things above to the table, but has bags of end product, and enough personality and confidence to already seem to be one of the leaders in the team.
