See Stade Rennais they are kind of a rubbish club in terms of on the park. They do produce very good players and seem well run, scout well and all that but constantly do nothing in football, pretty much an upper mid table team in France.

They are a bit of a meh club with a cracking youth set up.

Shame he left us he could have been part of something really special with us but pure greed took over and off he went.

If he'd left for 10% more he'd be greedy, leaving for 400% more he's wealthy.

Like Lawell et al wouldn't have pushed the sale through regardless :56:

Exactly, we got £25 mil for a player who probably now won’t go for more than £10 mil the rest of his career I don’t think (however much I loved him when he was here)

I honestly would have stayed at Celtic, he left for pure greed and there are plenty of people who would have done the same as him, i and others would not.

There is only so much money that can make you happy.

You and I and “plenty of people” are Celtic fans tho mate. The only 2 teams in world football who players could never leave for bigger and better things are Real Madrid and Barca. Players will always leave us

I honestly can tell you if i was on a the wages that were available to Jota when he was at Celtic i would stay at our beloved club for as long as they wanted me. Celtic is far more than money and also like i said how much money do you need to make you happy?

Also without doubt Jota could have been part of something very very special at Celtic, in time he could very well severely regret that.

Anyway our beloved club really is going places now, we are in for massive treats and more this season and the next and the next:50:
