When a player with as much quality as he has comes into a squad that looks to be tiring, it’s a shot in the arm to the full team.

That’s what we’ve seen tonight. Not just his own performance, a full lift to the full team.

And because he’s such a fan favourite, players who are there all season doing it, they’re not wanting to let people forget about them. And you can see that ripping through the team. Maeda the last two games, Kuhn’s goal. Guy’s like Hatate thriving linking up with Jota…

He’s gave the full team, and the fans a massive lift.

 

* knows how we've managed to pull this off but wait until we have a fully fit Jota on one wing amd Kuhn on the other.

 

Haven't had a winger like him since Yoto left.

The quality he's added is sublime at times his little touches and that pass in the second half out of defence pretty sure we scored from that move starting off with his wee pass to taylor guys unreal buzzing to have him back. When he gets upto full speed with kuhn wow and maeda added into

 

Proper hit the ground running, I thought he would need carefully nurtured back to form and fitness. He is quality.

 

I think jota the 2nd is better than jota 1... and he's only half way.

 

A few us old heads predicted he would hit the ground running no bother. He is insane at this level ,almost easy for him . Class.

So happy he’s back. You can see he’s feeling loved and will provide us with many more memories.

 

What a cross for Maeda.

Thought he would show what he was capable of quite quickly but didn’t think he would hit the ground running quite this quick. He is going to be frightening when at full fitness and after he has put a bit of muscle back on.

 

You mentioned the other day that Jota is maybe a wee bit far away from full fitness, but he showed today, it's not just tricks and flicks, although he's got that in his locker, it's a real substance to it as well, isn't it?

I absolutely agree. I'd obviously seen him before from the outside looking in and then I've seen him train and work.

But he's a big player, so I can't wait for him to get up to the level in terms of that football fitness. He's missed a lot of football, hasn't played a great deal, but he's a class act, how he takes the ball. He has a lovely arrogance with the ball.

But like you say, he's effective. He doesn't just look a good player, he is a good player. He can beat people and make a pass, make a cross, make a shot.

He's a big talent
