If he at all wants to come back, then hope the powers that be at the club are making every effort to make that happen and think he would be welcome and great to have him back at Celtic, and no doubt the fans would love to have him back.

Obviously the big caveat to that is the 'if'. Would he want to come back or woud he see that as a backward or a sideways step?

We also know for a fact that saudi teams have a limit of 8 foreign players, the most likely explanation is he's being sacrificed to make space for someone higher profile to come in.

On the whole "it's because he might be gay" gossip, does anyone actually think that there aren't loads of people in Saudi who are gay? There will be so many hypocritical situations all round that aren't acted upon because it benefits the country or powerful people.

 

can you imagine the uproar from all over the footballing world if they didn't want him if he was gay and rightfully so...it's bcoz they want Salah and nothing else. I hope we get him back bcoz we're in need of some good news and if Jota was to come back I'd be over the moon bcoz he's a cracking player.

 

The pure crap I've heard today has been on another level.

Benzema now wants out of the club, apparently friction between him and Nuno. Same thing with Jota I wonder?

 

Those money-filled cesspools that are Saudi clubs are no place for a talented young player to be at.

Well, I guess Nuno is far more likely to be the odd man out instead of Benzema.

They already knew about the 8-man limit when they signed him though. Some of their foreign players include Abderrazak Hamdallah, Igor Coronado and Romarinho. Not exactly high-profile names. If they were trying to make way for an additional star player, why not dump one of these guys instead of their brand-new £25m winger? It just doesn't add up.

 

So ipso facto “he must be gay”?

Can’t believe some of the nonsense I’ve read today about Tom Boyd walking in on him and Hatate, and even more so that people actually believe it.

 

£5M signing on fee, push him to high end of the wages and slap a £20M sell on clause. We'd get another season and then a £15M bump AGAIN... Everybody wins!

 

Offer him a year deal or a 2 year deal with a low release clause and high wages.

I suspect he'll have plenty of offers elsewhere, but he seemed quite attached to the club, not impossible.
