There is two ends of this and I know which one I'd aspire to be. Just ask Dermot desmonds son this see what response you get from him about having a rich father. Getting your hands on serious wealth opens other doors for unimaginable to the likes of you. Just look at David Beckham, fs now he owns a football club worth a billion. This is the thinking others have when they get their hands on ridiculous money!

Listen it's * jota is leaving us but I don't blame him. Not one single person on here would stay with celtic if giving the choice of 10million a year. Anyone says they'd stay are talking nonsense!

I wouldn't judge anyone who did but I'd never live in Saudi Arabia, not even for £10m a year.

    Vile country.

Well if the fee is the £25m+ being bandied about that's not too shabby. Good luck to him.

The way I look at it he chose to come here on loan and we got a good season out of him. He then chose to sign for us and we got another good season out of him while also ensuring we got enough money to completely cover his transfer fee and wages for his stay, plus have enough left over to buy a couple of very good players.

Imagine how * it would have been if he had signed for someone else last year and we were seeing the amount he was about to go for now, knowing we wouldn't see a penny of it. It's sad he's going but we are in a better place for having had him than not. We just need to make sure the money is used properly, but that isn't on him if it isn't.

I'm just wondering would some of the money from this transfer be better spent offering better contracts to others rather than buying purely new players? Although looking at Jota, GG and JJ , if they want off it doesn't matter how long is on a contract.

If I was getting £17k a week and my work was 10mins from my house, I'd be camping there for life!

After tax, bills, cost of the paper the contract was written on, Jota's insistence on a solid platinum pen while Egyptian slaves fanned him with palm branches, I would say, 57 quid give or take.
