I agree. The only player Tottenham should be looking at they sold to us for £6m and they're not going to buy him back for twice that a year later. The threat to our best players comes from mid-budget clubs, your Brentfords.

Richarlison has been * for Spurs, his World Cup was an anomaly. His goalscoring record, in general, is just * and not that of a 50 million quid striker. Wherever he’s been.

It’s absolutely not out with the realms of possibility that Ange would want Jota. Nor is it out with the realms of possibility that he’d turn it down for another crack at the Champions League with the intention of alerting others.

Richarlison’s career and price tag has always been * baffling to me. Even at Everton he done pretty good at.

If Ange makes him the player he thinks he is, Ange is a better manager than even I think he is. Which is a high bar.

I wouldn’t be swapping Jota for Richarlison, regardless of how much he was bought for.

Yet guys like Oliver Skipp and Eric Dier play every week for them.

There’s a reason they’re in a dire state. They’re not very good. More than one of our players would improve them.

    Dier state:fear:

Left wing is one place we wouldn’t have a player to improve though, Son’s * brilliant. And I’m expecting the best season he’ll have in his career next year under Ange.

Weirdly, don’t think Ange would be arsed about Harry Kane staying or going, if he stays he’ll make use of him and get the best out of him but he’s not the guy that will help implement his style.

Richarlison and Son are going to be essential for Ange.

Their work rate is already good. In that system it’ll be there for all to see. I think Richarlison will have an unreal season. Not goals wise but just all round play.

Not wanting to turn this all Spursy talk here but I’m convinced Bentancur’s going to have a * great season for them next year.

Ahh didn’t know that. I haven’t seen much of him at Spurs but as a youngster at Juve and coming in for Uruguay I thought he was going to be different class.

Honestly, I’ll be following Spurs and rooting for them for Ange and I’m not one for that usually, I want our former players to do well purely because I feel it’s important for us to get good money for them to do well when they leave.

But I want Ange to do well for him.

If any team wants him for less than £30 million, we'll just point them to this and say 'but he's 95 rated bro'.

Don’t think he’ll play Richarlison at all personally.

Son will be crucial but then he’d be crucial for any team in Europe, easily the most under rated player of the last few years - he has been elite world class level for a long time and flew under the radar.

Richarlison has been praised a lot for his workrate and defensive work. I reckon he will flourish.

But aye Son is gonna smash it. It’s perfect for him.

My only worry is if him and a few others like the Japanese contingent don't take to Rodgers as a manager they might look to move on sooner than expected too. I could imagine him and Hatate would be happy joining spurs as squad players to continue working under Ange in that scenario
