I hope your right that would be a massive boost if they are fit and play Sunday.

 

Would be huge to have Abada back as well especially given his goals record against the zombies.

 

With the league all but sown up, it wouldnt surprised me if he asked them to make one big final push towards the treble.

 

The only reason why I wouldn’t is long term. Rest of the season isn’t an issue but we could cause a long term problem that causes a reoccurrence of the injury or lead to other injuries due to pushing him.

He’s not played in a few weeks and not up to match speed as well.

You always see these foreign players who haven't grown up with the club as more or less mercenaries, especially those from Spain, Portugal etc. Granted, that's probably a bit stereotypical, but the fact is that you don't expect them to have much of a connection with the club outside of a professional one.

Jota really bucks that trend. Goes out spending time with the Celtic supporters and invests himself in learning more and more about the history of the club and our values etc - wearing retro Celtic gear too. This is why fans love his pressers too. He doesn't speak like a normal player, he speaks like someone with deep affection of the club and shows a genuine interest in our history.

When we signed him in the summer, I thought we would get this season out of him and he would be gone. I'll be honest, I'm starting to think he's going to be here a lot longer than many of us thought. I think he's found a proper home here and loves it. It doesn't matter if it's away to Ibrox or away to Dingwall, he's so invested in playing for Celtic and shows the exact same buzz regardless of who he performs against.

Brilliant to see. Love this guy.

 

Jota doesn't seem like your stereotypical modern day footballer at all. Cracking player and seems like a cracking wee guy as well
