    I thought originally it just deflected of a rangers player at our second but on second look it looks like the wee man backheeled it somehow. Good cameo yesterday and him and Mooy saved the day.

    He is, but just like Abada, Jota is still pretty inconsistent imo.

    Last season he started brilliantly, got injured and wasn't really the same until the end of the season where he was great again.

    This season is pretty similar. Had a fantastic start to the season, but hasn't (yet) reached the heights I expected him to. Granted there's still half a year left, but I thought he'd at least be in double figures for goals and assists by now.

    Needs to find that consistency. He has all the talent to rip this league up to shreds.

    We could bring up many examples of the inconsistencies of wingers.
    But with Jota.. We know that he's capable of making positive contributions on a run of games.
    Just need him to get back to that kind of form. The beauty is that we have quality players to step in when form drops. That goes for any of our wingers

    Inconsistent form is always going to be there with wide players. It's a cliche but seems very true, particularly young ones.

    We've paid a fair amount of money for him so he needs to be getting a run of games and allowed to build fitness again otherwise it's unfair to expect sustained form either way.

    Injuries haven't helped.

    All true no question. Still played a key part in setting up our equalizer against the zombies on Monday and even when not at his best is always likely to and capable of coming up with something big for us and of course when he is on he is one of the best attacking players if not the best in the league.

    He went through a dodgy patch during the middle of the season last year too, before returning to his best in style.

    I bet it'll be the same again this year.
