Do you think Ajax just take unders for their players? No, they set a price and tell clubs to * off if they aren’t paying the price or somewhere near that price. Just like Lanus told us to * off until we came back with the £3.75m. You have got to know the value of your player in the market and be willing to stick to it.

Nobody really gives a * about Nations League though, CL and World Cup, if he shows in them, it’s a complete different story.

Which is something if he wants to go we should be majorly pointing out.

Here, I know the 2nd parts jokey but that’s a point, we wouldn’t have won the league without both of them next year - we needed Jura and Tony.

It can backfire though that as well, knowing when you get the best money for a player or still get the best out of a player and maybe selling for a bit less the following year… it’s not an exact science, it’s a difficult thing to do.

Luis Suarez going to Liverpool for £23m odds was one of them, it was him kicking up * to go. They weren’t even acknowledging that amount previously for him.

I hope he stays, it’s too soon to break up the band, they haven’t even played the main gig. Last part I 100% agree with. That’s the quality we need here at Celtic to be successful, in the domestic league and in Europe.

Of course it can backfire. I just think we need to be better at doing our business, we need to negotiate hard and get fair do’s for our players.

It’s having quality, but different quality, as an option to come in. Ralston doesn’t offer what Jura does, but Jura doesn’t offer what Ralston does. The weaknesses both have, is majorly the other guys positives. We have two positions where I’d say that - Ralston and Jura, Giakoumakis and Kyogo. So different in styles, offer so much but what they offer, it’s in completely different ways.

It’s all about timing for me, there’s a point you will get the most money you could possibly get for a player. And there’s a judgement of character if you knock back a big move for one of your guys as well - that 2nd part I have no doubts with whatsoever - if we knock back a bid it’s because Ange has confidence in them wanting to be here. If he doesn’t, they’ll be off anyway, regardless if we think if we wait a year they could possibly be worth more.

Ange’s team is just as reliant on players personality and desire as it is they players ability, and the first part of that equation is more important to Ange than the second part.

This is going to become the norm, the style ange has us playing and the types of player he's bringing in will put them in the shop window. It's wether the players want to be here and if the board want to build a successful club or cash in.

Like Maeda and Jota, Taylor and Bernabei… it’s fantastic because the gaffer can select what’s needed for the day and if it’s not working, it’s not a like for like even though it technically is.

Agree with that, you need to be here a 100% under Ange, because that’s what’s required to play his football and be successful. So no doubt the conversations will be had behind the scenes. They’ll ask Jura how much he wants to be here, they’ll gauge his level of dissatisfaction if he misses out on the move and make decisions from there.

The fact we’ve got a lot to offer him, he may just say I’m happy either way. Do your best.

Think it’s the reason why I’m very calm about the possibility of losing a key player this summer, I’m calm with it. Whereas every other time it’s happened even when there’s a player I’m happy to stand in for them, like Eddy for Moussa, I still had that level of anxiety with it.

In one season, Ange has proven his judge of character makes it far more of a sure thing for us, regardless of what happens.

Probably as good a move as he’ll be able to get even if he has a cracking CL campaign and World Cup so could see him pushing for it if they make a move.

Should be trying to hold out for £20m at least.

It would take an absolute megabucks offer, and I mean in the region of Bassey Bucks to consider selling the now.

I'm sure there's a few other RB Atletico are interested in as well currently. No worried by this yet, we hold the power in terms of the contract and will command a fee of what we want, when we want.

I’d be happy if he stayed till Jan had a super CL and WC got us 6 points clear in the league then head of into the sunset for £30m

25mill or 20+ with a pick of one of their younger players on a permanent. Throw in a sell on and get it done if he wants to give it a shot. This is what the likes of vinicius wants to see, players coming to us, doing the business and getting the big move. Can use it as a massive selling point for the club. I'd trust Ange to find and adequate replacement for him for under 5mill.

Hope to * nothing comes of this but I’d expect if Juranovic is keen, then we might see this happening pretty quickly and possibly done this week

All completely in his hands with this now, if it's actually genuine of course... Now way we want an unsettled player in CL matches, so if he wants to go then get everything we can and do it quickly.

Problem with this move is that it's gotta be tempting for him. League/terms boost and still gets CL matches. Better than just a wage bump for going down South

Meanwhile Croatian international Juranovic has been linked with several English Premier League clubs and Atletico Madrid were thrown into the mix.

The Spanish giants are looking for a right-back but their top target is Udinese’s Nahuel Molina. They face tough competition from the likes of Juventus and they might need to look further down their list.

Juranvovic’s camp has also made it clear that he is happy at Celtic and still has a long-term contract. The Celtic squad will see their numbers boosted by the return of the international stars before next week's pre-season trip to Austria and Czech Republic.
