He's lightning fast (up there as the fastest in the team according to GT3/Ralves), and has buckets of technical ability.

These are top attributes that are difficult to train. Ralston is the better crosser, but when you're not as fast and not as technical as another player, todays market sees you not as valuable either.

 

I won't be overly disappointed if he goes. I've never understood why he's so highly rated. He's a good player but nothing special in my opinion.

I trust our scouting team to bring the perfect replacement in.

Disappointed it's starting already with this new team some starting to think they are better than what they are and playing us. But, does anyone really expect anything less from the modern player and TBH, can ya really blame them. I do see this happening very soon with even more of our players and it'll be unsettling for the team and could even have Ange questioning about staying on longer. But, for now enjoy it while it's here.

 

If better offers are there then that's not them thinking that they are better than what they are. If the rumour is true we've offered him a new contract to stay I'm guessing his agent has found clubs willing to pay him over 30k.
Football is a business and it is how this business is run now. We can talk about certain players in the past who could have gone to bigger clubs but they were times when we could still outpay many premier league teams. We have to adapt to that as a club and fans have to accept it.

 

If he does go, we need to make sure we bring in a player of similar quality. Ralston isn't good enough to be first choice.

 

I think he's easily as good tbh.

 

Ralston is better going forward but he's nowhere near good enough positionally or defensively. I like Ralston and I love his story but he's not good enough when it comes to playing the likes of the European games or the huns. He's been done by Kent a fair few times. Juranovic always seems to have Kents number. If JJ goes, we need a replacement.

 

Wouldn't worry me one bit if we were playing the Huns tomorrow and AR was marking that show pony.

 

I think he's better, defensively as well. If it were him playing against Shakthar I don't think he has second thoughts about the slide tackle that would have cleared the danger rather than Jura letting him by. I like Jura but Ralston should be starting, regardless of JJs price tag.

Juranovic is the more rounded player and I like Tony..

A first team quality, pacey right back with Tony rotating/competing....and we're in good hands for that position..

 

Someone mentioned Sugawara on here, who would be excellent. I really liked the look of Yan Couto also.

 

Nice interview, good to see Naka get a mention along with Larsson as a player who got us noticed on the big stage. Somehow him and Artur Borac fighting with each other doesn't suprise me lol

 

Sugarwara is a good shout for right back.
I like the look of him.

 

He was very good against us last year. Think he would cost a fair amount though.

I thought Sugawara looked class when we played AZ.

I'm sure I read that he was playing further forward this year. He's also on a long term deal, I believe.
