    I cannot understand why he wasnt playing, i thought for a young lad he has been really good for us, looks like he could be a great player in time, why the * was he dropped?

    He turned 19 just the other week there and I agree, he's a crackin' prospect and is already showing that he can compete for a start in the first 11.

    Thompson seems a good prospect.If alex ferguson saw something in him then he must be doing something right.He reads the game well and has all the attributes for a good centre half.

    Great young prospect, his positioning is brilliant and that is a commodity that is hard to teach He's a young lad and I think with some backing from the fans, he could grow into an amazing player for Celtic.

    He's just turned nineteen, been thrown into the middle of a defensive crisis, not had a consistent partner and STILL done better than some of the diddies that were there before him and that get played alongside him.

    I think that the guy has showed loads of potential and has played very well seeing as he has fairly limited experience and is so young.

    Any one who makes a mistake while playing for celtic should be droped from the team and sold right away....we have no space for human/normal players in our world beating team of super stars.:rolleyes:

    i'm not sure where this 'hope he can work on his pace' is coming from. You either have it or you don't. Doesn't mean he can't be a great CB tho.
