Would rather give Monty a chance though Doig is an improvement on Taylor.

Burnley, Leeds and Watford in for Josh Doig. One of the best young talents in Scotland, this is the sort of player we should be signing.

Frimpong could rip apart a lot of players. He had bags of pace and could knock a ball past players with ease. As does Karamoko.
Lads only 19 as well and was playing in a far inferior team. Its no disgrace

It be just like us to sign a left back when we have three at the moment and we are crying out for a right back .

None of them are good enough/ready for the first team though. Need an RB as well though obviously..

Look across the city. There are players here that will improve us. Just because Taylor hasn't worked out doesn't mean we should write off talent within our own borders.

Under Strachan we had several SPL players in the team who played really well for us. McDonald, Robson, Hartley, Brown etc. Are the ones we signed. Think about the ones we didn't sign... McCarthy, Robertson, McGinn etc.

You must have a lot of noisy Hun mates if you’re regurgitating this bull.

You don’t win 12 domestic trophies in a row, compete continually in EL/CL group stages, spend a relative pittance on players, and end up with no money left. The facts are there in the accounts.

Saw he had a great game yesterday. Think he got MOTM.

I'd like him as an option at left back.

Need a first choice left back, not competition for Greg Taylor. Need to aim higher.

I'd play him ahead of Taylor, but then again I'd play a traffic cone in front of Taylor.

I do agree that long term, Doig would be back up to whoever we bring in in the future.

    This won't happen.

We can't pay £4-5m for a back up. I've not seen enough of him tbh, what I have seen I think I'd prefer Hickey.

I also think if we were to pay £5m I'd want to see him have at least 2 seasons of form.

I know it’s not a priority but we could use a left back that’s bigger physically as well, teams will always look to exploit the lack of height in our team this season.
