    I would rather we took a chance on this lad instead of buying laxalt, I like laxalt but think he has hit his ceiling and Doig's potential at the minute is more appealing for me

    Well it wasn't the last two times anyway, as Frimpong was * scared to take him on, had him in his pocket.

    Already mentioned him a few weeks ago.

    Looks a good player, as mentioned at a million or so, would be good value.

    This lad has loads of potential. We have issues with dealing with Hibs maybe this will change once Lawwell is gone.

    We will be needing to look at the Scottish market more since we have came out the EU now anyway and top up our Scottish based and trained at the club players for Europe.

    Young lad, fair price, I know little to nothing about him.
    No complaints if it goes through.

    We should have been all over the hickey deal last year, shame we didn't.

    Hickey I knew more about and he had more hype, is this doig on a similar level?

    Unless he's breaking in to the team like Tierney did, then we will still need another first team player.
    Potentially with Taylor out the door as well.

    Lax would cost 7.2 million as Milan have set his price. There is no * way we are paying that.

    He will go back to Milan at the end of the season and won’t be seen again at Parkhead.

    I’m pretty sure we’ll lose out on Doig now. Too much * around as usual Chelsea and Arsenal now although he’d get a better chance of first team football with us

    I reckon the kids got real heart and well worth a deal.
    Doig, Taylor and Laxalt down one side has to be fairly decent.

    Doig is another deal that just needs to happen,
    if a deal is possible.

    ROSS CONFIRMS DOIG EXIT

    Hibs manager Jack Ross has told Sky Sports that left-back Josh Doig will leave the club in the coming weeks.

    Doig has been left out of the Hibs squad for the live on Sky game against Motherwell on Sunday afternoon.

    Ross said there is strong interest from various clubs and he expects movement soon.
