4 penalties, if a team misses that many i would expect at least 1 to be sky high but that was immense.

Like to see him get a good loan out to someone in the championship now

I'd like to see him get a game on Wed. Not sure if Hart just needs a rest, but he's been brutal lately.

Bain isn't the answer and Siegrist is so far out of the picture, that he isn't even in the picture.

Keepers often develop later, but at 19 I'd say give him a go.

If he can survive with Lawal infront of him, he should be fine with Starfelt and whoever.

Nothing to lose really by giving the chance have we. Always get complaints about too much riding on each game as to why we can’t bed youth into the team, so surely now is the perfect opportunity

So do I, but not the best of starts. Only seen the result so not sure how he performed, but they got beat 2 1

It's an emergency loan, he'll only be there for a week or 2, that game might be the only game he plays

I am sure I read that he did pretty well despite them getting beat.

He seems a decent keeper, probably unlikely to ever make it here but certainly knew how to save a penalty in that Glasgow cup final shoot out.

IMO, he might be an option for our third keeper if we sell Siegrist. It leaves us one foreign player slot to use on the rest of the squad, with us only register Hart and Bain (HG), and Clarke should be on the B list.

A link up we should be using as much as we can. Level just below our league, under a guy I absolutely trust to know the best thing for a young guy at Celtic. He’ll do the best for his team he’s managing obviously, but if we give him some talented youngsters we want to gain experience, in positions he wants players in and needs, so they’ll play. Having Broony to pepper questions to is something I’d be happy with.

Loans away aren’t so much about coaching, so even if be doesn’t have it that side, gameplays the most important thing. Don’t get me wrong, some coaches have a massive effect on a loan player like Steve Clarke with Ajer but it’s not the main thing I want from these loans

I think he needs 18 months on loan and then comes back as our 2nd or 3rd choice. If not in the championship then league 1.

Hoping this boy can get involved in first team squads this year. Obviously already is talented and working closely with big Kasper will surely help push him on.

If KS does well and gets another year on his deal I reckon Josh will be ready to take over.

That would be the ideal scenario for me tbh, whether it's Josh Clarke or another young keeper with ability.

Think he's highly rated from within the club , would love it of he could get a few games throughout the season if possible, or put him out on loan

It's got to be the way forward mate. As many of these big name, hugely experienced keepers we can keep coming through the club as possible please.

I much prefer this new route. Keeper is the one position we don’t necessarily (or shouldn’t) rely on much in domestic football. And pointless us paying £5 mil plus for a keeper for the 6-8 games we play in Europe.

I’d be happy with schmeichel, Bain back-up and then whichever youngster to play a few times over the season if needs be.

100% mate. I reckon Bain is the type of character that will be supportive of young guys coming through and taking his place as number 2.

Good luck to him, but I wouldn't have been against him being our backup. David Marshall was playing against Barca and oldco at 19.
