Hayes is good but we can get better he's 30 now he won't want to sit on bench all we would be doing us weaken aberdeen rangers would then take second best look elsewhere

Griffiths went down south and scored goals for fun, and Armstrong was a standout in a not to bad Utd side, Hayes is 29 and has found his level imo at Aberdeen, i honestly don't get it not if we are to move forward for Europe.

Rogers seem to improve players when they come to Celtic so Hayes could improve under Rogers and still a good squad player if needed.

Your forgetting he had just signed a new deal at Aberdeen so they would be wanting a fee, if the links are correct they will also be wanting Christie which i know who I would rather have.

We shouldn't be lookin to buy squad players we are already good enough for the league. Let's be honest, he's not gonna start, he's not gonna make an impact in Europe or I very much doubt it. So why sign him to be a squad player when we have just gone the full seaso unbeaten? We don't need squad players, we have Calvin Miller and mikey Johnstone in youths to help come in if needs be, really hope we don't sign Hayes

Would be pretty disappointed if we were to sign him tbh, thought we would be aiming a lot higher than that.

Can't take this serious. Maybe it's a bit of spoiltness after season we have had. But if the boss does rate him, then get him in. No harm with some fresh supplies. And he is fast and knows where the back of the net is.

Trying to remain open minded about this one but I'm coming up with more negatives than positives, in regards to signing him.

Has some good attributes and clearly good enough for domestic duties, but he'll unlikely be an upgrade on what we have and it'll weaken our nearest rivals.

Too much of a dirty Dub in him.
PS. Disclaimer. We don't refer to the Dubs as dirty due to hygiene.
They are so called because their GAA team were dirty * throughout the years.:50:

Thanks, but he's not what we need right now. He's good but not sufficiently good enough to oust Forrest or Sinclair. We need a player of Roberts quality or the ability to be moulded into such a player.

Whoever comes in has to be ready to make the first 11 better for Europe, not a squad player to cover for injuries.

Kind of went off the idea. If * forbid Sinclair gets injured during our CL campaign, do we really want Hayes starting? I'd rather bring in some young foreign talent who can actually improve us

Michael Grant in The Herald claiming the interest is real. Also saying Christie to Aberdeen is ongoing as well.

I thought we were going to be buying 2 or 3 quality players that would improve the starting 11 and can play at Champions League level. Hayes is a good player but hes nothing better that what we have already. He would be a squad player that would probably spend more time on the bench than on the pitch.
