    If there is valid information as to those suspected as responsible for these shameful & reprehensible actions, I would suggest that it be also passed along to Fife Constabulary.

    I have now been told that Celtic FC paid for the restoration and supplied the security guard to stand watch on Saturday night. I was told that the decision was made not to contact the police or the media, as they did not wish to create any "circus" in todays tense climate.

    I would assume that Fife's finest will know all about this by now however.

    Be that as it may, it would be remiss of our social responsibility not to advise them if this information is genuine. Even if Celtic & the John Thomson Memorial Society prefer to keep this out of media attention, the police can still carry out due process & prosecute in accordance with law, rather than leaving this matter purely to vigilante justice.
