    The Crown Prosecution Service says it received the files on John Terry from Met Police late last night. Will now decide on any prosecution.

    The CPS will make an anouncement on whether or not John Terry will be charged over allegations of racism this afternoon .


    If CPS don't prosecute Terry, FA must still then decide whether to revive their investigation which they paused pending the police probe.

    No jail for Terry if guilty. Max punishment through court is a small fine. Then it's up to the FA to punish him if guilty.

    Chelsea Statement:

    Chelsea Football Club today received notification that the Crown Prosecution Service has charged John Terry with a racially aggravated public order offence.
    John has made it clear he denies the charge and is determined to do all he can to prove his innocence.
    Chelsea FC has always been fully supportive of John in this matter and will continue to be so.
    The club finds all forms of discrimination abhorrent and we are proud of the work we undertake campaigning on this important issue.
    Chelsea will not be commenting further on the subject while the legal process runs its course.

    FA statement on John Terry charge: "The Football Association will not be making any comment at this time".

    They really have to wait until the court case is over before taking any action .
