    There is no possible way he has called his long time England team mate a black *. He plays for Chelsea and has numerous coloured comrades for a start.

    He is thick but he is not that thick.

    I think a lot of people are looking past the fact that he has already admitted himself he said it at one point on the pitch but only to make it clear he hadn't in the first place. Wether that video is showing him saying it in defending himself or actually having a go at Ferdinand, I don't know.

    All sounds strange to me from Terry since the game ended. There's a statement from him on the Sky Sports site but I'm on the phone so can't copy it.

    You could not imagine such a thing happening at a football match 30 years ago. Football reflects us all as it always did, and these days it’s both racist and not racist at the same time. Things may not be perfect but, at the end of the day, Gary, there are worse things to complain about.
    So, Mr Evra and Mr Ferdinand, I know you feel insulted. But perhaps in this case you could just put up with it and get on with the game.

    QPR Statement -

    QPR statement appears to indicate Anton Ferdinand has not backed up Terry's version of events. A fire just got lit under this affair.


    The FA can confirm it has received a complaint relating to an alleged incident of racist abuse in the QPR versus Chelsea fixture at Loftus Road on 23 October 2011.

    The FA will now begin to make enquiries into this matter.

    The FA takes seriously any allegations of discrimination and abuse of this type.

    No further comment will be issued at this time.
