    As a partnership, no. As a squad roation, yes.
    Id love to see us at the end of next season raving about a great Scottish defensive partnership that has formed. But im with your concerns, we need experienced, strong cb for the qualifiers. Be that vvd or someone new, along side one of these two (in early for pre season) id be confident

    Souttar would be the only one I'd go after at Utd now. Obviously the boy Cootes and Souttar's brother are supposed to be top class but I've not seen them much.

    If his best position is in midfield then what's the point. He'll not get close to the starting 11.

    From what i can guess the transfer policy is to replace high earners who don't play with young guys who are eager for success.

    I think you see a totally different attitude, like GMS when he signed. If the attitude is right and they can play then i'm all for bringing them in as opposed to guys with a slight attitude problem or a lack of confidence.

    Utd's MOTM against us last week, as well.

    Fantastic talent but if he is just going to be slotted in alongside the other development players then there is no point in signing him and stunting his development. He won't play ahead of Brown or Bitton in centre mid, and it wouldn't be fair to put him ahead of Armstrong or Henderson who could both play there.

    He has no where near the experience to play for us at CB. Still got a lot to learn in that position. I think signing him could ruin him. No point in just stockpiling Scots for the sake of it.
