I find Smeato quite amusing. I certainly don't get where all this hatred for him comes from. The guy, along with others of course, laid the boot into some nutcase terrorist who was trying to kill innocent holidaymakers!

And it may well have been the media who made him out to be a hero, but you didn't see him saying " Listen, I'm not a hero, I done what anybody else would have done in that situation ".

If he was that involved in preventing the attack why was he overlooked by the prosecutor fiscal and not called as a prosecution witness.
If he was that involved in preventing the attack why did all the other key witnesses claim his version of events was pure and utter fiction.
