I somehow doubt I'm going to be taking political cues from someone saying "muth *" and ranting sectarian * about Muslims. Unreal:87:

the mad muslims as you call them felt justified having a problem with us long before john reid and will ,loong after hes gone religious zealots will always find a reason so lets be reasonable eh. We all have differing opinions on all sorts of people/players etc BUT you should be fair about it and why i mean oh because he used to be a government official he was at the root of it gawd im sure he woulda been happy to wield so much power.

i cannot believe people cannot appreciate what he done for our club, he was a grat chairman IMO. weather you agree with the iraq wars or not it was his job to decided not ours!!!!! we voted his party in so should shoulder the blame just as much. anyway less about that *............

aparaently the new mans a whisky magnate......owns the whisky shops and other distillaries. might be the start of a breakaway sponsorship from the huns!! something is brewing at celtic park..........

We won three trophies during his reign. That's not unsuccessful.

I couldn't give a * if * Choudary or Himmler had done a great job for our club,it may have been their past but it's not the kind of person or past that should ever be associated with this great club.Period, point blank.
What the * has "us" voting his party in got to do with anything? They invaded a country, bombed their people, horrifically abused them and we've just supposed to forget it all because he done what any Celtic man would've done and spoke out against the bias?
    * John Reid twice in the * ear.

Dunno about you, but the bit where he said, "these mad muslim mother fuckas woulkd wipe you me and every other c,,t of the face of the earth" suggested to me that he is not well disposed towards that religion. :56:

Bankier is an interesting choice for his replacement.

He has no background in such a public-eye role: his work history is more corporate law and various non-executive business posts.

From his point of view, I guess the high-end whisky market is not the place to be in the middle of a recession.

From Celtic's point of view, he looks much less of a "public face" than Reid. Perhaps the feeling is that Lawwell and McBride are a more-than-capable tag team, and it'd be to our advantage to have a Chairman who is less talk and more behind-the-scenes action...

i said earlier in the thread, i don't have a clue what it is that the chairman actually does so i couldn't offer an opinion one way or the other on his appointment to be honest.

Can't beleive people think because he done,an admittedly decent job, when Chairman that his crimes against humanity should be forgiven.

That man has innocent blood on his hands. There was no justification, and no excuse for what him and his cronies were responsible for.
