JOHN O'SHEA

Rules regarding loan players have changed, I think it's now unlimited loan signings. Would take O'Shea on loan, he is a decent player, and he can play in numerous positions, something Strachan is keen on, have even seen O'Shea play in various midfield roles, and he scored a Bergkamp-esque goal against Arsenal last year. He almost signed as a schoolboy for Celtic, but then Fergie came a callin' and the rest is history.
Not too sure if Man U have enough cover for defence to let O'Shea go, they've also just sold Phil Neville another multi-function player, and seem to be a little light in defence.

no matter if hes in the right shape or not * be a huge asset to Hoops defence. ive seen OShea live twice, i was impressed. Hes strong, quick and tackles * well.

that would of been me don't mind taking him on loan only cos were really up * creek still don't think he's cracked up to be what everyone thinks he is maybe 2 seasons ago but lately...no.

 

He is superb and keepin up the irish connections

 

I'm with you Johnny - from what I've seen he's nothing special - he's a crap merchant. He shirks out of too many tackles for my liking. No better than average, which I guess makes him better than Mo Camara

 

He would be a good player for Celtic. Alex Ferguson doesnt know what he's doing these days. John isn't a Walter Samuel, Stam, Nesta or cannavaro but still would be a decent signing considering our current defensive problems.

 

I would like to see O'Shea and Du Wei, if Baldes gone we'll need more than one player, cos we already needed a central defender. We need a left back, can O'Shea play there?

 

o'shea's about to sign a 4 year deal with man ure so it's looking like this deal is dead in the water. not bothered either way tbh
