He took so much stick for being a weak link during Ronny's tenure, yet there wasn't a rush to praise him during Brendan's time.

    Strange that.

Getting criticised on KDS for being too confident in the pressed with Lennon.

    Amazing.

Can say I have newfound respect and admiration for this guy.It really seems to be vital for the stability and continuity of our team and performances ,that he rejected Judas and stayed at Celtic.Fair play to him.

“It has been a bit of a whirlwind but it’s been good that’s there’s a bit of closure as well because sometimes when these things happen it drags on for a bit but the club have been well prepared and got things sorted very quickly so we move on,” he said.

“The club have been well prepared” says a lot to me

Also “a bit closure” is telling, it seems it was very expected.

I kinda get that there appeared to be 2 camps after the summer ,seems like br was gathering his soldiers together for going over the wall ,seems jk seen through wot was going on and kept close, but not as close as br hoped .

Jk coulda made a lot of money moving ,says a lot that he didn't jump ,his reward hopefully will be to get to lift the trophy s along wae lenny and be lauded by the fans at the end of the season .

From The KT Interview in the Celtic view

One figure who remains a constant daily presence in Tierney’s life each day in training is John Kennedy.

The 35-year-old has been a faithful servant to the club since he joined the Celtic Academy as a youngster. As Celtic fans will sadly recall, injury cruelly curtailed his promising career on the pitch, but it’s a testament to Kennedy’s character that he has become so successful in a coaching role.

Tierney is full of praise for a man who he maintains has been invaluable in his own career and is delighted to see him continue to develop in his coaching career.

“For me, in my career I wouldn’t be here without him,” said Tierney in an exclusive interview with this week’s Celtic View. “He helps me every day after training. I’ll watch video analysis with him and then we’ll go out and work on it on the pitch.

“He always has time for you, no matter what’s going on. He’s one of those guys I could talk to about anything, I’m really close to him.

“Since I’ve been at Celtic, and particularly since I’ve been in the first team, John Kennedy’s been really important for the club and he’s largely gone unnoticed all these years.

“He’s got his reward now by getting assistant manager, but even under Ronny Deila he was a huge factor and under Brendan Rodgers he continued to be hugely important for us all.

“He’s been in the background for a bit but now he seems to be getting the credit he deserves and the recognition. He’s a really hard worker. He’s got to where he is through hard work and is a proper Celtic man.”

That is most certainly 100% accurate and beyond that a totally class act off the park as well as at training. I have been very fortunate to have spent some time with him and cannot speak highly enough about him.
