I'd much rather Leigh Griffiths based on this season. Guidetti is the better footballer, but Griffiths is quick, sharp, works hard and has looked really dangerous since the turn of the year.

Griffiths clearly wants to be here, can anyone say the same for Guidetti?

You would sign someone who wants 30k per week and gets 2 goals in 5 months, over someone who wants to be here is working hard for the team and getting goals week in week out.

    Really....?

Lets be honest if JG signed ever * window of his contract he would be looking to the door....it would be a total pointless signing.

Yeah, I reckon he's a better player than Griffiths overall.

My biggest worry is he prices himself out of a move to holland and suddenly we are fantastic club and fans....blah blah blah and he signs.
we already have a none scoring useless striker who does not want to be here on a 3 year contract lets not add another one.

I'd keep him. I think his link up with the 3 behind him is usually excellent. Needs to add more goals though.

And may I ask in what ways is Guidetti "better overall"?

    Griffiths is quicker than Guidetti.
Griffiths can score free kicks just as well as Guidetti (if not better)
Griffiths can score better goals from distance
Griffiths can link up better with a partner than Guidetti can
    Griffiths is fitter
Griffiths has rose to the challenge of changing his attitude

Just off the top of my head.......

Griffiths does not link up better than Guidetti. Agree with the rest though

griff is scoring goals we need.
griff wants to pull on the celtic shirt and play for us.
griff gives a * and nows how lucky he is to be here.

dudetti thinks he is the only player on the pitch.
dudetti has two goals in 5 months.
dudetti does not not to play for us.

Fans need to stop believing if he signed he would improve,he has had a season with us and only gone in one direction......downwards.

    Pretty much this.

At the start of the season I would have sold my soul to have Guidetti over Griffiths but now I can't see why anyone would pick Guidetti over Girffiths.
