The way I attempted to describe it is the way it is generally interpreted by football people

Well he did, I've seen plenty a striker cut back in and go super greedy in the box like that..

If he's in right positions in box, why isn't he scoring ?
I would say scepovic is probably best at moving/creating space in box, but that's another argument for another day :smiley-laughing002:

I'm not knocking guidetti as a player. He is good. And I'm certainly not trolling. I like debating, it's what the forum is for. I just think griffiths is better striker. He's more clinical and will score more goals. Also create more.
Can't say that though, without the insults flying.

Played well tonight. Won the corner we scored the first from. Set up the second. Was fouled in the lead up to the third that allowed Johansen to get away. Flagged offside wrongly when he was clean through. He kept making the runs though. Johansen should have played him in when he pulled those two shots. All in all good game.

    Drivel yet again..

If he's constantly moving into the wrong channels he's covering the same amount of ground as if he was moving into the right channels.

I actually can't even understand the * you're talking any more. What exactly are you trying to say? Movement = work rate ?

    Jesus, keyboard Mourinho here.

If he's moving it's work rate. You're just being pretentious.

If he runs into a channel it counts as ground covered.

You would be able to see where exactly they run, how fast they accelerate away. Pull up in the box, dummy run etc. All that is intelligence based.
Then throw in the pressing and defending from the front. For me griffiths is clear winner.

I said that if a striker is moving into the the wrong channels he covers the same amount of ground as if he's running into the right channels. Therefore, good work rate does not equal good movement.

    Yup, tactical genius me :56:

No, you said movement does not equal work rate.

    As do I.

I think he is better suited. Only worry would be his lack of pace as Ranochia and Vidic turn like buses..however Griffiths could very easily be bullied by them at the same time, don't think Guidetti would.

Played well by his recent standards, more movement, more involved but nothing near looking like taking over from Griffiths.
