Anyone that thinks he was 'immense' is absolutely off their head.

Good display from big John tonight! Absolutely crucial in the false 9 role you have a player who can link up the play and open up space for others! Apart from a goal he was on the money! :50:

So by that definition you think Griffiths is rank then I take it?

I don't care if he doesn't score between now and the end of the season, I'd still sign him.

Griffiths is the form striker at the moment though, and should be number 1.

His assist for Armstrong was fantastic many a striker would just have swung a boot at it in the same position .very unlucky from the volley and again the service to himwasn't great Johansson could have played him in a few times

Thought he played well tonight. Linked the play and set up Armstrong when he could easily have tried to shoot. Obviously he would like to have scored, unlucky with the volley and the flag happy * linesman.

1 assist, played a big part in Johansen's goal, could have had 2 goals when he was wrongly flagged for offside twice, never stoppe running and working for the team, came deep a few times and developed the play with quick and clever flicks and passes.

He was immense, best player on the park along with Johansen.

no it really isnt. guidetti makes very clever runs , playing on the shoulder of his defender , that is something top strikers are in the habit of doing , and guidetti does it instinctively. best part of his game . griffiths all too often makes the obvious run into the channels. if you dont agree with me then you havent been paying attention to them in matches.

One thing guddetti is not short of is confidence,no matter how long since he scored i think he will in every game believe in himself 100%.

Think sometimes he tries a bit to hard.

Worked his * off. Still think he's not quite there fitness wise. I'm convinced he'll be better than ever if he signs and has a proper pre season.

He was far from immense. Jesus, 'immense'? If that's immense I'd love to see how you'd have described him if he banged in a hat trick.

He was OK. He got an assist, yes.

But let's not kid ourselves that it was all Guidetti that created that goal, he turned back after a very poor touch and Armstrong was in a good position right in front of him.

Griffiths does all that with goals. He's all over the park.

I think he needed to up his game and get a proper chance

He has now got a proper chance and upped his game. So no I don't think he's gash as he's turned it around

    Wow, "dumb dumb". Brilliant.

You said that Griffiths had more goals in less appearances. He doesn't. I'm betting that you don't have details on how many minutes they've played and that's why you're asking. Guidetti has two less appearances. As for the minutes played - you tell me.

His free kicks and penalties don't count and now his assists don't count either because they're too easy :smiley-laughing002:

Looking better than he has been in the past few appearances tonight. Nice to see him get the full 90 minutes aswell.

Great wee pass to Armstrong too, where he would've normally wasted it with a shot. Can see him getting back on form soon and all this Guidetti is pish crap will be forgotten. At the end of the day some people need to remember that being a striker isn't just about scoring goals...

Griffiths for me looks hungrier and more dangerous. If I was playing centre half, I'd much rather play against guidetti. He's strong, but relatively slow and not that great in the air.
Comparing him to sutton doesn't really work, Sutton played with 2 up top. Totally different game.
