* this *, I've had the unfortunate pleasure of spending an evening with him and his younger bro on a night out in Liverpool. His bro was more of a * than him.

Zero respect for him, a decent man would put his money to good use if he fancied throwing it away. Loads of disadvantaged kids on the Mersey could do with a couple of quid for a pair of footie boots to get them off the streets and avoid the gangs they wind up in

Now call me cynical if you must, but I don't believe that EVERY person caught * around or gambling is actually an addict. Maybe they just really, really enjoy doing it? I just having this nagging suspicion that they're hoping to play on the sympathy we have toward people addicted to drugs and the like in the hopes of being treated less harshly.

ynow what i did feel the ban was a bit harsh until i read Leon Osman this morning saying Barton had been given an FA warning 2 years ago for same offence! Ban him for another 18 months

Got totally found out in Scotland. Game v Celtic was a little boy lost. Even in their dressing room he couldn't hack it. I know a couple of Burnley fans and they were giving it Barton will do this in Scotland.. etc. They said the same about Arfield. I am not bigging Arfield up, however he has shown himself to be a far stronger character when it comes to the big games in Scotland. Barton can talk himself up as much as he wants but he is a poor mans Arfield by some distance.
