I will be furious if Ledley goes after we've already sold Wanyama and Hooper.

after their chairman's smack talk about the wanyama transfer i don't see us doing business with cardiff in this window anyway but if we do I hope lawwell rips the * out of them in negotiations

This is obviously just paper talk.

We already have Whittingham, Kim, Mutch and Gunnarsson who play in his position, and he's not better than any of them really(Except for Mutch, but he's got a good few years on Joe).

I wouldn't mind him back since he's a local lad, and we seem to give up all our decent home grown talent to you lot for f all. However there's still a wee bit of bitterness about the way he left us.

Not to mention I really couldn't see us spending £3million on him.

I hope it's true. I'd rather a bid came in, especially if he's been offered a new deal and he's knocked it back. We could just let his contract run down or we could spin the wheel, sell him and it puts more money in the transfer kitty.

It at least gives us an option, not one that we have to take, but i'd rather a bid came in at this point, than one didn't come in, if he is thinking about running his contract down.

Obviously we don't want Ledley to go, we want him on a new contract. We can't offer super high wages or all the other players come knocking on the door.

I would say, let them even try it. Offer Ledley money, if anyone else wants to make a big deal of it, you deal with that later. We decide the wages not the players and right now, Ledley is vital.

 

There is zero chance of Ledley going to Cardiff for £3m

 

Ledley's easily replaced.

 

I don't think he's easily replaced at all and if the only bid that comes in is £3million, that's how much he's worth. He's either worth £3million or nothing.

That's really the decision if a contract isn't agreed. £3million gets a player in and covers his wages.

 

Behave yourself lad, Joe Ledley is better than all of them. 3 million would be a bargain.

 

Aye, big Ledley would walk into that midfield easily. He's worth more than £3million, but it's £3million more than we'll get for him in January.

 

I think that is perhaps why you don't think he is better than the players you mentioned. Nothing to do with ability.

 

How long has he left on his contact. I personally think he's worth 10m judging by wanyama and epl prices. Depends on his contract obviously.

 

This is his last season, on current contract, away to start.

 

I'll riot if we sell Ledley. In saying that if they sneaked him out the door when we announced Finnbogason signing it would take me a while to figure out they let him go
