Joe Ledley transfer?

We already know that he wanted to talk with Roma before he makes any decision.

At least it showed us, that he haven't agreed in principle with Stoke City yet, and the race isn't over for Celtic.

 

Jesus Lads, can you blame him for wanting to explore every option before making a decision and trugging his family to the other side of the country or even a different country. Also he is probably using this as a Bargaining Chip to increase his wages, again can you blame him. Nothing has been anounced yet about any club so let's just wait and see and if we don't get him owell there's always other people

 

I get the feeling that if he wanted to be here he would. So let's stop wasting our time on him and move on. Then he will see that no-one is bigger than our great club. So let's move on there are other players out there. Well mr ledley your time is up.

I don't think we have to sell And I think our budget is ten million plus whatever lenny brings in from selling

 

Just thought id point out stoke were 9th last year,,,i thought the transfer season was open why would our board take a holiday...same story as usuall lennon will take the blame for our team not geling in time for euro game..* get the players signed,,the likes of campbell and bulard should have been done deals if we want them..

 

I can see a few reasons why he might choose Stoke over us;

1. It's in the midlands and is convenient for him in terms of travelling to see family.
2. He may feel that leaving Cardiff without them getting a penny could tarnish his name at his boyhood club.
3. Fairly obvious, the EPL, even at the lower reaches is a chance to show your talents to a truely global audience and perhaps gain a move to the upper strata. Not many manage it, but it's always a lure.

Setting your feelings for Celtic aside for a moment, it's not like a move to Stoke would appear to be a * one for him.

For * sake man grow up maybe he wanted to play in the premiership and they are offering more wages .

 

Don't be stupid - It's Lennon and Lawell's fault. You see they actually hate celtic and therefore do their utmost to avoid signing good players like Ledley. That's the only explanation for it!
